hi there - glad you're still adding to this blog - enjoying seeing whats out there... i did go out with peter white and rodger and we saw whitethroat (new bird for me) and i was also shown sparrowhawk nest in graveney - wonder if any activity there or at the one in bedford lately?? must get up there again soon!

glad was right person! i've not been out and about much on common lately, so not checked status of sparrowhawk. Did try and catch the woodpecker fledgings but missed them - damn! Must get up early enough soon, probably best time. Hope our paths collide again soon! Vicky
