15th November
Welcome to the Tooting Bec Common bird blog.
This is my favourite photo so far from the common. A relatively tame Robin beside the duck pond.
A brief stroll around the southern half of the common this morning produced some good birds. Notable were a pair of Chaffinches beside the running track in with a flock of Long-tailed tits. A Green wood pecker was heard and there was a Grey heron and Cormorant on the pond.
